Killer Bees Home Opener: 6pm vs Ross School @ The Bee Hive
Tonight the Bridgehampton Killer Bees, New York State Class D defending Champions, take to their home court at 6pm to show all comers they are ready to make a run again this year. So instead of bitching that there’s nothing to do out here in the sticks on a Monday night in the off-season, get out of the house and come see the best show on hardwood.
If you’re behind on this year’s storyline, the team is 4-0 with wins over Pearson, Class B Mattituck, a last second thrilling victory over Class B Wyandanch and a drubbing of Westhampton on Saturday without their All-Star, Josh Lamison. Tonight the Ross School will be fed to the wolves so don’t expect a test. Rather look to see the team overwhelm overmatched Ross with the game over by the end of a quarter. I’m not overconfident, I’ve just seen both teams play. The Bees are playing with an edge. They have something to prove: that they can win it all without Charles Manning. Can they? Well, that’s the beauty of sports. We don’t know until the end of the season. Tonight’s chapter will be entertaining and we hope to see you there. It’ll be buzzing. Tonight’s opponent is the Ross School. What does this mean for the Ross School? Bad news for the Ross School.
